Mobile tyre fitting: what to send for a useful quote
Request mobile tyre fitting in London or Slough with the right tyre size, vehicle details and location. Learn what affects stock, access and your quote.
Start with the vehicle location
Tell us the exact postcode and where the vehicle is parked: driveway, workplace car park or roadside. A postcode alone may not identify the entrance or a safe working space. Share any access restrictions when requesting your visit. London and Slough enquiries are reviewed for actual coverage and availability; a service-area page does not represent a separate workshop.
Read the tyre size from the sidewall
A marking such as 205/55 R16 identifies width, profile and wheel diameter. Include any load and speed rating shown after it, and say which tyre is affected. Registration details help the team understand the vehicle, but fitted wheels can differ from the original specification. If you cannot safely read the tyre, tell us rather than guessing.
Explain replacement or repair needs
Describe pressure loss, visible damage or a worn tyre. Do not remove an embedded object just to photograph it. Repair suitability depends on damage position and the condition of the tyre; some damage requires replacement. An enquiry cannot establish repairability without assessment.
Confirm what the quotation covers
Ask which tyre is proposed, whether fitting and any relevant callout charges are included, and what happens if inspection changes the work required. MECHIGO confirms suitable stock, price and attendance before arrangements are agreed. An urgent request is not a guaranteed immediate arrival.
Prepare access for the appointment
Tell the team about gates, parking restrictions and your locking wheel nut key if the vehicle uses one. Keep the location accessible where possible. If you are stranded in an unsafe position, prioritise road safety over collecting tyre details.
